□ The main principle in the treatment of traumatic brain injury involves the control of physiologic parameters such as ICP to achieve an adequate cerebral perfusion pressure.
Changes in the control of cerebral blood volume (CBV) may have significant effects on ICP and, thereby, on cere- bral perfusion pressure (CPP).
